RPM site adjustment potentiometers
Eight half-turn potentiometers (clockwise for more fuel) provides enrichment curve at 1000 rpm intervals and are electronically interpolated to give smooth change-over points. Factory preset at 1/4 turn.
RPM site indicator (2000-9000)
The LED lamps(x8-red) will activate when input pulses from the ignition coil reach the correct site as indicated on the circuit board. It is used for visual checking that the cylinder number is correctly selected on the circuit board
Water injection link(W)
Use this link for ERL water injection equipment only as important bi-directional diagnostic information is communicated between the MF2 and the ERL water injection equipment.
Fuel injection link(F)
Link when the MF2 is used for normal fuel injection operation. remove for driving water and and boost control solenoid valve.
Boost control
Remove all links when the MF2 is used for boost mapping purpose.
Input gain potentiometer
25 turns gives full pressure input gain (factory preset at 12T) when used with manifold absolute pressure (MAP)sensor or throttle angle sensor within the 0-5V input range. Ignore when using manifold pressure switch.
Water pump fault
This yellow lamp will only activate when the MF2 is selected for water injectiion operation. It activates as soon as the ignition is first turn on and if the system is clear of faults. It should go out in 5-10 seconds.
Voltage converter IC
This little integrated circuit converts the incoming +12 volts DC supply to +5 volts for powering optional Manifold absolute pressure(MAP) or optional Throttle angle sensor.

Pressure threshold potentiomater
25 turns sets the full pressure input signal cut-in point (factory preset at 12T). When used with manifold pressure switch, no adjustment is required.
Variable cylinder number potentiometer
25 turns potentiometer. Activated by linking the cylinder selection pins marked '2' on the circuit board. At fully anti-clockwise position, it will accept ignition signals from a two cylinder engine and at fully clockwise for a 12 cylinder engine. This facility is designed specially to interface with the unusal RPM signals from diesel, rotory and multi-coil distributor-less systems.
Enable variable cylinder number link
Linking this pin activates the variable cylinder number adjustments potentiometer.
Cylinder number selection pins
Preset link pins for quick cylinder selection. Factory set for 4-cylinder engine.
Injection valve presence light
This green lamp will activeate only when an injection is conected and activated. It is a useful tool.
Cable loom input connector
9-way D-type connector to mate with three possible looms; fuel injection (supplied-red hood), water injection (option-blue hood) and Boost valve (option-yellow hood).
